I think that the front page should be more "internet". In particular, it needs something that goes along the lines of:
"Lobbocracy is a wiki based site that is striving to provide a comprehensive documentation of financial donations and other networks within the traditional political sphere. Who ever knew that "Ann cocroan had donated $1,650 to the Australian Labor Party?" <insert random fact here>"
